Passengers are allowed to bring any other foreign currencies in and out of Thailand; however, the amount must not exceed the amount stated by the Customs Department upon arrival. Passengers leaving Thailand are allowed to take Thai currency not exceeding 50,000 Baht out of the country.
Prohibited Items : The Thai Government determines prohibited items which are not considered illegal to be imported to or exported out of Thailand, such as drugs; counterfeit coins or banknotes; pornographic books, pictures or items. When found, the prohibited items will be confiscated and should passengers be found guilty, they will be fined and prosecuted.

Passengers found in possession, usage, manufacture, purchase, distribution, smuggling of drugs may face death penalty.
Restricted Items : Restricted items are items controlled by the law to be imported to or exported out of Thailand and require written consent from related government agencies. The consent letter must be presented to customs officers during customs clearance. Such items are:
